We are Miziki Rhythm Africa, a professional music and dance performing ensemble from East Africa. Our versatile repertoire spans authentic African traditional music and dance, Western art music, and innovative fusions that blend the richness of both traditions. With extensive international touring experience, we have captivated audiences across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, delivering dynamic performances that celebrate cultural diversity, artistic excellence, and the universal power of music.

Teaching
Teaching is my profession, and sharing the knowledge, skills, and experience I have accumulated over a lifetime is my passion. If you are interested in learning about African music and dance—whether a specific musical tradition, dance form, instrument, or broader cultural practice—I would be delighted to connect with you. As a freelance African music and dance educator, I offer my expertise through master classes, guest lectures, artist residencies, workshops, seminars, tutorials, and webinars.
I carry within me hundreds of songs and embodied knowledge of numerous indigenous musical instruments, dances, and performance traditions, learned from respected elders and master practitioners across generations. I see it as both a privilege and a responsibility to pass this knowledge on, ensuring that these rich cultural traditions continue to thrive through teaching, performance, and mentorship. I am inspired by Louis L’Amour, who wrote: “Knowledge is like money: to be of value it must circulate, and in circulating it can increase in quantity and, hopefully, in value.” That belief continues to guide my work as an educator, artist, and cultural ambassador.
